WHAT IS A CLIP ON CONVERSION?

A clip on –conversion is when we take a regular tie and make it into a pre-made tie.

WHO WEARS CLIP-ON TIES?

Anyone can wear a clip-on tie. However, these ties are mostly worn by people who cannot tie their own tie for health reasons or for security reasons where the wearer cannot have anything wrapped around their neck. These are also commonly used in the restaurant and services industry as the tie keeps its shape longer and creases less than ties that are continuously tied and un-tied.

WHICH TIES CAN BE MADE INTO CLIP-ON TIES?

All our ties can be converted into clip-on ties with the exception of Bow-Ties.

HOW LONG CAN YOU MAKE THE TIE ONCE CONVERTED?

Generally we can make the tie anywhere from 16.50 inches to 21.50 inches long. This is measured from the top of the knot to the tip of the tie. You need to measure in inches from your top button of your shirt to where you would like the tip of the tie to be.

HOW LONG DO YOU RECOMMEND THE TIE TO BE?

While there is no set length the tie looks best when the tip of the tie hangs to mid-point of the belt buckle.

HOW MUCH IS A CLIP-ON TIE AND HOW DO I ORDER ONE?

We add $6.00 to the price of the tie. On each image there is a clip-on conversion button with the price. You select this button and not the ADD TO CART button to order. The price shown includes the conversion fee.

HOW DO I SPECIFY HOW LONG I WOULD LIKE THE TIE TO BE ONCE CONVERTED?

When you checkout there is a message box and you can enter the length in the box as follows:
“ Length of clip-on tie to be ……. Inches”

DO THESE TIES SAG AT THE KNOT?

No, these ties do not sag no matter how many times you open and close the clip.

DO CLIP-ON CONVERSIONS QUALIFY FOR THE BUY 3 GET 1 FREE OFFER?

The clip–on conversion does not qualify but the tie does. Eg: If you pay for 3 qualifying ties the 4th qualifying tie would be for free. However, you will be charged for all 4 ties to be converted.

CAN CONVERTED TIES BE RETURNED IF WE DON’T LIKE IT?

No, Converted ties may not be returned. In order to convert a tie we have to alter the structure of the tie around the neck which includes cutting and sewing. For this reason any tie that has been converted may not be returned for any reason whatsoever.
